Los dueños de Damiani lanzan una opa para excluir a la compañía de bolsa
La familia Damiani quiere sacar la firma del parqué. Leading Jewels, el hólding controlado por los hermanos Guido, Giorgio y Silvia Damiani, ha realizado una oferta pública de adquisición (opa) por la marca de joyería, que cotiza en la bolsa de Milán desde hace once años.
La oferta es por el 16,74% del capital y asciende a 11,8 millones de euros, 0,855 euros por título, según un comunicado remitido por la empresa a la bolsa italiana. En el día de su salto a bolsa, las acciones de Damiani cotizaban a cuatro euros.
La empresa, fundada en 1924 en Valenza (Italia), cerró su ejercicio 2017 con unas pérdidas netas de cuatro millones de euros, frente a los números rojos de 5,5 millones de euros del ejercicio anterior. Las ventas, por su parte, se elevaron un 1,6%, hasta 164 millones de euros, impulsadas por el canal retail.
La empresa emplea a 800 personas en 17 mercados, y opera con 49 tiendas y 1.500 puntos de venta multimarca. En el último año, la empresa se ha instalado en Tokio, Shanghái, Dubái, Singapur y Corea del Sur.
