Miroglio apuntala su negocio en el mercado español. El grupo italiano de íntimo, que se expandió durante años en España de la mano de Via Emilia, ha comenzado a armar equipo en el país con el fichaje de una directora general para Elena Mirò, uno de sus buques insignia.
La empresa ha incorporado a Elsa Rey Álvarez como nueva responsable de la firma de tallas grandes en la Península Ibérica. La ejecutiva cuenta con una amplia trayectoria en el sector, y gran parte de ella como responsable en España de firmas internacionales.
Rey comenzó su andadura en el negocio de la moda en compañías como Parfums Christian Dior o Wolford, donde fue responsable de franquicias en España. En 2000, la ejecutiva fichó por Warnaco, donde llegó a ser directora general para el mercado español y portugués, gestionando las licencias de Calvin Klein.

En los últimos años y antes de que Elena Mirò llamara a su puerta, Rey trabajó en la consultoría de recursos humanos Talentiam y en la start up de íntimo Black Limba.
Elena Mirò, presente en 35 países, está especializada en ropa femenina de la talla 44 a la 48. En España, su próxima apertura será en el centro comercial Málaga Designer, cuya apertura está actualmente en stand by por problemas en los accesos.
Elena Mirò es propiedad del grupo italiano Miroglio Group, que gestiona también Motivi, Oltre, Fiorella Rubino o Diana Gallesi, entre otras. En el ejercicio 2018, la empresa registró una cifra de negocio de 500 millones de euros, en línea con el año anterior.
