Nike suma y sigue: crece un 9% y engorda su beneficio un 28% en el primer semestre
Nike suma y sigue en el ecuador del ejercicio. El gigante estadounidense de moda deportiva, número uno en el mundo por cifra de negocio, ha finalizado el periodo (cerrado en noviembre) con un alza en su cifra de negocio y en su beneficio neto.
El grupo ha finalizado los seis primeros meses con un beneficio neto de 1.939 millones de dólares (1.742 millones de euros), un 28% más que en el mismo periodo del año anterior. El beneficio antes de impuestos de la compañía se ha situado en 2.267 millones de dólares (2.037 millones de euros), un 24% más.
Las ventas del grupo, por su parte, han registrado un crecimiento del 9%, hasta 19.322 millones de dólares (18.862 millones de euros). El alza de la facturación de la empresa ha estado impulsada por “las inversiones estratégicas y especificas en nuestra transformación digital”.
China ha liderado el crecimiento de Nike, con un alza del 21%
La empresa se ha mostrado satisfecha con los resultados entre junio y noviembre. “Nunca he sido más optimista sobre el futuro de esta empresa”, ha explicado Mark Parker, presidente y consejero delegado de la empresa, en un comunicado.
China ha liderado el crecimiento de Nike en el primer semestre. La empresa ha disparado un 21% sus ventas en la región. En su mercado local, el grupo ha elevado sus ingresos un 4,4%, mientras que en Europa, la facturación de la empresa ha crecido un 8%.
El resto de Asia Pacífico y Latinoamérica ha sido la única región donde los ingresos de Nike han evolucionado a la baja. En la región, el grupo ha recortado su cifra de negocio un 36% durante los seis primeros meses.
La división de moda ha vuelto a ser la que ha liderado el negocio de Nike durante el periodo, con un alza del 17%. El calzado y los artículos de equipamiento deportivo, por su parte, ha crecido un 15% y un 10%, respectivamente. Las principales enseñas del grupo, Nike y Converse, han evolucionado de forma paralela en los seis primeros meses. Ambas marcas han registrado un crecimiento del 9%. En el periodo, Nike ha roto con Amazon.
