Pitti Immagine eleva su apuesta por la Red y se hace con el 100% de su plataforma digital
Pitti Immagine se vuelca en la Red y adquiere el 100% de su negocio online. El organizador ferial ha tomado el control absoluto de Fiera Digitale, la sociedad que gestiona la plataforma digital de todos sus salones en la Red. El importe de la operación no ha trascendido.
La empresa ha cerrado la adquisición del 25% del capital que estaba en manos del empresario Francesco Bottigliero, junto a quien cofundó Fiera Digitale en 2010. Bottigliero es director del área digital de Brunello Cucinelli y ejercía como consejero delegado de la sociedad, que ahora está íntegramente en manos de Pitti Immagine.
Fiera Digitale finalizó su último año fiscal (cerrado el pasado 30 de septiembre) con unas ventas de 1,5 millones de euros. El salón online recibió la visita del 26% de los compradores inscritos en las pasadas ediciones de Pitti Uomo, Pitti Bimbo y Pitti Filati, según WWD. Italianos, japoneses y alemanes son las nacionalidades más frecuentes en la Red, mientras que las visitas desde dispositivos móviles copan el 39% del total.
Pitti Immagine está pilotado desde julio de 2017 por Agostino Poletto, director general en sustitución de Raffaello Napoleone, que mantuvo el puesto de consejero delegado y asumió una función más institucional y de relaciones públicas.
