Ralph Lauren se suma a la búsqueda de la trazabilidad. El grupo estadounidense se ha aliado con la plataforma de software Evrythng y con el grupo industrial Avery Dennison para digitalizar toda la línea de productos de su marca Polo.
Evrythng es una plataforma de Internet de las Cosas en tiempo real, mientas que Avery Dennison está especializada en packaging y etiquetado y es una de las abanderadas en la implantación del Rfid. Ambas colaboran ya desde 2016 con el objetivo de introducir el IoT al etiquetaje de los artículos de moda.
Para Ralph Lauren, las compañías crearán un identificador digital para “garantizar la integridad de nuestros productos a lo largo de su ciclo de vida”, explican desde el grupo a WWD. “Ahora, cada producto de Polo será nativo digital”, añaden.
Evrythng es responsable de la infraestructura de data y la digitalización de los productos, mientras que Avery Dennison, a través de su solución Janela, gestiona la creación y la impresión de las etiquetas.
