Tréndico crece un 12% en 2019 y concentra su red en Atleet y Foot on Mars
Tréndico Group sigue acelerando en la carrera del deporte. El grupo zaragozano de distribución deportiva, que lleva inmerso cinco años en una transformación, ha cerrado el último ejercicio con un crecimiento del 12%, hasta superar los 46 millones de euros. Para este año, el gran proyecto del grupo es la transformación de su red de tiendas, priorizando los rótulos Atleet y Foot on Mars.
Actualmente, la empresa opera con cuatro conceptos: Atleet, Foot on Mars, Twinner y Número 1 en zapatillas by Foot on Mars, que suman en total 456 establecimientos. El objetivo ahora pasa por simplificar su red e impulsar sus dos cadenas más jóvenes: Atleet, especializada en moda técnica, y Foot on Mars, de moda deportiva.
Tréndico ha comenzado ya a transformar parte de sus tiendas Número 1 en Foot on Mars, y prevé que la cadena termine el año con entre 81 y 84 puntos de venta. De ellas unas diez serán nuevas aperturas en localidades como Vilagarcía (Pontevedra), Andorra, Melilla, Olot (Girona), Vilanova (Barcelona) o Barberà del Vallés (Barcelona), y el resto transformaciones de Número 1.
Tréndico prevé cerrar el ejercicio con ochenta tiendas de Foot on Mars
Atleet, por su parte, sumará 19 nuevos puntos de venta, entre transformaciones y nuevos establecimientos. La inversión de las reformas ascenderá a casi dos millones de euros, según ha explicado Carlos Tejero, presidente de la compañía, a Modaes.es.
Tréndico cerró 2019 con un crecimiento del 11,6%, hasta 46,3 millones de euros. De cara a este año, “crecer ya no es el único objetivo, sino acelerar nuestra transformación y garantizar la sostenibilidad”, asegura Tejero.
La compañía comenzó su transformación digital en 2014 y hoy el canal online se ha convertido en uno de los motores del grupo. Foot on Mars acaba de renovar su plataforma de ecommerce y en los próximos meses se replicará el mismo sistema a Atleet.
“Nuestra gran ventaja es la flexibilidad: si un nuevo producto se pone de moda, para introducirlo sólo tenemos que agendar una reunión”, dice Tejero, que recuerda que el grupo fue pionero en el lanzamiento de una cadena especializada de sneakers cuando llegó el fenómeno.
Con sede en Ejea de los Caballeros (Zaragoza), Tréndico Group opera como una central de compras, servicios y ventas. La empresa emplea directamente a catorce personas.
