Alibaba alquila a Merlin sus nuevas oficinas. El gigante chino del ecommerce ha arrendado sus nuevas oficinas en España a la socimi liderada por Ismael Clemente, según ha informado la compañía patrimonialista en sus resultados trimestrales.
En concreto, Alibaba ha alquilado una oficina de 772 metros cuadrados de un edificio ubicado en el número 10 de la calle Pedro de Valdivia de Madrid, en el que también tienen sus sedes empresas como Allen & Overy o Sony Pictures. El nuevo espacio ocupado por Alibaba se encuentra cerca del centro financiero y de negocios de la ciudad.
Alibaba es uno de los mayores grupos de China y opera también con Taobao, Tmall, Aliexpress y 1688. La empresa cuenta además con una filial financiera (Ant Financial), una plataforma de monetización (Alimama), un proveedor de servicios cloud (Alibaba Cloud) y un operador logístico (Cainiao Network).
La empresa fundada por Jack Ma en 1999, registró un aumento del 51% en sus ventas en su último trimestre fiscal, hasta alcanzar los 15.337 millones de dólares (13.590 millones de euros), mientras que el beneficio se duplicó hasta 3.776,13 millones de dólares (3.346 millones de euros), motivado por la revalorización de sus participadas.
