Así fue Effie Awards Colombia 2019
DDB y cerveza Poker se hicieron ganadores del Gran Effie, por la campaña Amigos de WhastApp; Bavaria fue elegida Anunciante del Año; Sancho BBDO, Agencia del Año. Los Goodfellas son la Agencia independiente del Año, reconocimiento que entregó por primera vez Effie Colombia. Así fue Effie Awards Colombia 2019.
El Grand Hyatt de Bogotá fue el escenario en el que se llevó a cabo el primer Effie Summit. Todo un día de conferencias, cursos, encuentros entre líderes del mercadeo y las comunicaciones, fueron la antesala de una emocionante noche de premiación, que además conmemoró los 50 años de Effie Global y los 40 de la Asociación Nacional de Anunciantes, ANDA, licenciataria de Effie en Colombia.

Los ganadores se eligieron entre 120 finalistas, quienes fueron evaluados por un jurado experto conformado por representantes de la industria, liderados por Alberto Mario Rincón, gerente general de L´Oréal, y Diana Díaz Gallo, country manager en SC Johnson Colombia.
“En los Effie 2019 contamos con un mayor número de casos, agencias y anunciantes participantes, que el año pasado y 2 nuevas categorías, lo cual posicionó las expectativas en un nivel más alto. Cada año este reconocimiento evoluciona y se convierte en una experiencia más innovadora y grande, que impulsa la cultura de la efectividad de las comunicaciones comerciales en el país”, dijo Alberto Mario Rincón.
Premios
Fueron premiados 24 Oro, 14 Plata y 21 Bronce, entre los que se destacan: “El viaje de Play Doh” y “Come más carne de cerdo, todos los días”, en la categoría Éxito sostenido. “Ruta 90” y “Un Bip por la Guajira”, en Positive Change Social Marcas; El MAMBO se arrienda en diferentes categorías, entre otros.

Effie College
También se entregaron los premios en la tercera versión de Effie College, un programa dirigido a estudiantes de últimos semestres de carreras afines a la publicidad, mercadeo, diseño y administración. Los galardonados fueron las propuestas de las universidades Pontificia Bolivariana, Jorge Tadeo Lozano, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Autónoma de Occidente, Konrad Lorenz, Sergio Arboleda, Universidad Central, Colegiatura Colombiana y el Politécnico Gran Colombiano.
Paula Calle, integrante de uno de los grupos finalistas de #EffieCollege, habla de la importancia de esta iniciativa para la academia.

Durante el Effie Summit, P&M habló con Elizabeth Melo, presidente ejecutiva de la Asociación Nacional de Anunciantes ANDA.
“Para la Anda es de gran satisfacción ser licenciatarios de estos premios desde hace 13 años, que son una plataforma para visibilizar y promover las iniciativas de las marcas con propósito y su aporte al desarrollo de la comunicación comercial y de las buenas prácticas como industria. Quisiera invitar a anunciantes, marcas, agencias y academia a que participen en las próximas ediciones de los Effie, y que nos ayuden a promover campañas encaminadas a una transformación y construcción de país, siempre respetando a los consumidores”, dijo Elizabeth.
