El calzado español se encarece un 3% en el exterior ‘por el tirón’ de EEUU y China
El calzado español sube precios en el extranjero. Las exportaciones del sector se situaron en 2.108,3 millones de euros durante los primeros nueve meses de 2018, lo que representa un descenso de 1% frente al mismo periodo del año anterior. Sin embargo, los precios por par crecieron un 2,7% gracias al buen comportamiento de las ventas en mercados extracomunitarios como Estados Unidos, China o Corea del Sur.
De hecho, las exportaciones a destinos de fuera de la Unión Europea ascendieron a 595 millones de euros, con un crecimiento del 7,2% en valor, representando el 28% del total de las ventas en el exterior. En esos mercados, la industria vendió 24,8 millones de pares.
Los precios del calzado en Estados Unidos, el cuarto mercado del sector, ascendieron a 50,95 euros, lo que supone un incremento de 9,4% respecto a los nueve primeros meses del año anterior.
Las exportaciones de calzado a la Unión Europea se redujeron un 3,8% debido al mal comportamiento de mercados como el francés
En cambio, el repunte ha sido más acusado en China, que actualmente es el décimo mercado del calzado español, donde el valor del par de zapatos se ha elevado un 23,3%. En otros mercados extracomunitarios, como son los casos de Corea del Sur y Japón, decimoquinto y decimosétimo mercados del sector, respectivamente los incrementos han sido de 24,9% y 20,6%.
Por su parte, las exportaciones españolas de calzado a la Unión Europea alcanzaron los 1.513,5 millones de euros y 98 millones de pares, con descensos del 3,8% en valor y del 5,1% en volumen.
La causa de la caída obedece a la involución de las ventas en los mercados de Francia, Italia, Alemania, Portugal y Bélgica. En concreto, en Francia, que es el principal destino del calzado español, el precio de los zapatos cayó un 4,5%.
Las importaciones de calzado a España se situaron en 2.318,4 millones de euros, un 0,1% más
Las exportaciones a Italia, el segundo mercado del calzado español, también registraron un mal comportamiento entre enero y septiembre, anotando descensos de 1,9% en los precios del par de zapatos.
En cuanto a las importaciones, un total de 251,8 millones de pares valorados en 2.318,4 millones de euros entraron en el mercado español en los primeros nueve meses de 2018, lo que representa aumentos del 2,3% en pares y del 0,1% en valor.
A pesar del incremento, las importaciones de calzado proveniente de China, el mayor proveedor de España, se redujeron un 3,5 % en volumen y un 7,4% en valor. Las compras realizadas en Vietnam también se redujeron un 1,98% en volumen y un 0,43% en valor.
