El dueño de Topshop cancela los pedidos y aplaza los pagos a proveedores
Topshop corta también el flujo de nuevo stock. Arcadia, propietario e la cadena británica de moda, ha remitido una carta a sus proveedores para cancelar todos los pedidos en marcha y renegociar las condiciones de pago, según Drapers.
La empresa pasará a pagar a noventa días, frente a los sesenta actuales. La compañía argumenta que ha tomado esta medida “para preservar el futuro del negocio de Arcadia para el beneficio de nuestros empleados, proveedores y clientes”.
Arcadia, que controla también Topman, Dorothy Perkins y Miss Selfridges, entre otros, se suma así a retailers como Primark, Asos o New Look, que también han cancelado sus pedidos a lo largo de la última semana.
