Retailers internacionales apuestan por marcas Colombianas en el mercado local
Desde mediados de 2017, el gobierno nacional lanzó una campaña para incentivar el comercio local tanto en el canal mayorista como minorista, comprometiendo a empresas como Falabella, el Éxito y La 14, con proveedores locales. La campaña ha cogido fuerza gracias a las nuevas tasas arancelarias y la desestabilizad de la divisa local, fomentando aún más la sinergia entre los fabricantes colombianos y los grandes comerciantes en el país.
La cadena PriceSmart reportó a principios de este año que Colombia había sido su mejor mercado en el continente durante 2017, situación que ha fomentado las compras locales. Hace poco más de 6 meses Arturo Calle y Cannon, se vincularon como proveedores del club americano, con jeans, polos y textil hogar a precios accesibles. Este año es Leonisa quien se ha sumado a la oferta textil de las mega tiendas con ropa interior en formato especial.
Jumbo una de las filiales del holding chileno Cencosud gestiona desde sus inicios en el país, relaciones comerciales con grandes textileros como el Grupo Crystal (Gef, Punto Blanco y Baby Fresh), y Quest. A partir de este año la colombiana Tennis, de prendas de vestir estilo urbano para toda la familia, se ha sumado al portfolio local de la cadena de tiendas.

Falabella es el retailer internacional con más convenios locales. Según cifras reveladas por Fenalco las cadenas extranjeras han incrementado sus compras locales en un 18% durante los últimos 2 años y la tendencia es que la cifra siga en aumento.
