Safilo engorda su negocio un 5,2% aupado por Asia en los nueve primeros meses
Safilo mantiene el ritmo hasta septiembre. El fabricante italiano de óptica ha cerrado los nueve primeros meses de ejercicio con una cifra de negocio de 708,7 millones de euros, un 5,2% más que en el mismo periodo del año anterior.
Sin embargo, la rentabilidad de la empresa se ha situado a la baja entre enero y septiembre. El resultado bruto de explotación (ebitda) de Safilo ha concluido el periodo con 33,6 millones de euros, un 15% menos que en septiembre de 2018.
Las ventas del grupo han estado aupadas por la evolución en Asia Pacífico, donde los ingresos de Safilo se han elevado un 27,3%. En Europa y Norteamérica, en cambio, la evolución ha sido más moderada, con subidas del 3,1% y del 3,7%, respectivamente.
Safilo ha remodelado su cartera de marcas durante el periodo. Entre enero y septiembre, la empresa ha renovado las licencias con compañías Hugo Boss, Levi’s o Missoni, y ha perdido otras, como la de Dior.
