Value Retail inyecta 50 millones para remodelar La Roca Village
Value Retail impulsa su complejo de Barcelona. La compañía británica especializada en la gestión de centros comerciales outlet inyectará cincuenta millones de euros en la remodelación de La Roca Village, las instalaciones que tiene en la localidad de La Roca del Vallès, en las afueras de la capital catalana.
En el primer trimestre de 2019, la compañía iniciará las obras de remodelación, que contemplan la construcción de un párking subterráneo, con el que se ampliará en cerca de un millar las plazas de aparcamiento. Por otro lado, el proyecto de remodelación incluye también la adecuación de un área comercial y de restauración en la zona sur del complejo.
En esta remodelación también se mejorarán algunos servicios, como la renovación de la oficina de turismo, una nueva área de espera para autocares y una zona de descanso para chóferes, una oficina de devolución de tax free y puntos de recarga de vehículos eléctricos, así como una nueva sala vip.
Con este nuevo proyecto de remodelación, Value Retail llevará invertidos en La Roca Village 80 millones de euros en cinco años
Esta es la segunda mayor inversión que ha ejecutado Value Retail en La Roca Village en los últimos cinco años. En 2014, la empresa destinó treinta millones de euros en una tercera ampliación en la zona norte del complejo y en las infraestructuras de acceso. La compañía estima que, una vez concluidas las obras, en el último trimestre de 2020, se creen 170 nuevos puestos de trabajo.
En la actualidad, La Roca Village cuenta con una plantilla de 1.800 trabajadores. En 2017, el centro comercial recibió un total de 4,4 millones de visitantes, el 60% turistas internacionales, procedentes sobre todo de China, Rusia, Corea del Sur y Oriente Medio.
