Courir se refuerza en España con una apertura en Bilbao
Courir extiende su presencia en España. La compañía francesa de distribución de moda deportiva se refuerza en el país con la apertura de un establecimiento en Bilbao, en el número 29 de la Gran Vía.
La apertura de la tienda, que cuenta con 230 metros cuadrados de superficie, ha sido asesorada por Cushman&Wakefield. Con el nuevo punto de venta, Courir suma seis tiendas en España, repartidas en Barcelona, Pamplona, Alicante, Valencia y Palma de Mallorca.
Los planes de la empresa pasan por continuar reforzando su red comercial en España, y finalizar el ejercicio con once puntos de venta. A escala global, la compañía cuenta con 180 establecimientos.
La empresa formó parte del grupo francés Go Sport hasta octubre de 2018, cuando pasó a manos del fondo de capital riesgo Equistone Partners. Desde enero del año pasado, Courir opera con una filial en España, con sede en Madrid.
El grupo se hizo con el negocio de Bata en Francia a través de un consorcio de empresas liderado por Etam. La Chaise Longue, Un Jour Ailleurs, Okaïdi, Armand Thiery e Yves Rocher France son las otras empresas que forman parte del consorcio constituido para esta operación.
