Texworld mantiene el pulso con más de 15.000 visitantes en septiembre en París
Texworld mantiene el pulso en París. Las ferias de tejeduría y aprovisionamiento que organiza Messe Frankfurt en la capital francesa redujeron un 2,6% la afluencia de público, pero aun así la cifra de visitantes volvió a situarse por encima del listón de los 15.000 asistentes.
El presidente de Messe Frankfurt France, Michael Scherpe, explica que las cifras son buenas teniendo en cuenta que en septiembre de 2017 registraron cotas históricas. Según Scherpe, en esta edición llamó la atención que no hubiera ninguna región predominante en la feria.
El 80% de los asistentes a Texworld y al resto de eventos que se organizan junto al evento, como Apparel Sourcing, proceden de fuera de Francia. Entre los países con una mayor afluencia de visitantes están Reino Unido, España, Italia y Turquía.
Y entre los que más elevaron su presencia estuvieron los italianos, con un 11% más de asistentes, y los suizos, con un 16% más. La organización también subraya el incremento de los visitantes procedentes de India, Corea del Sur y Líbano, así como de Túnez.
En esta ocasión, la feria sumó un 10% más de expositores, hasta concentrar a 1.850 empresas con la incorporación en el certamen de la nueva área Leatherworld, especializada en el segmento de la piel. En encuentro convocó también a Avantex, para la innovación textil, Apparel Sourcing, para el aprovisionamiento, y Shawls&Scarves, para accesorios textiles.
